CC Sport appoint Mark Taylor as new manager

New manager starts with a 4-2 win over Deal Town Rangers.

CC Sport have appointed a new manager to lead the team who are acting as a reserve side for the first team and is run in conjunction with Canterbury Christ Church University with the majority of players either current or former students of the University.

Mark Taylor takes over the team who currently sit mid table in their first season in Division 3 of the Kent County League. Mark is a former student at Christ Church graduating in 2011 who since then has had a number of football coaching and management roles at various places including Global Premier Soccer – Bayern Munich’s Youth Football Partner in the United States.

Mark is also currently Football Academy Manager at Dover Christ Church Academy – a secondary education institution sponsored by Canterbury Christ Church University – so will bring a great deal of experience in developing young players too.
